Here are several things you will want to consider when purchasing mineral cosmetics:

Quality and purity of the minerals and pigments: Mineral cosmetics is made using raw minerals, pigments and other natural ingredients found in the earth, however, the term "pure and natural" can be misleading. Some mineral cosmetics is composed of micas coated with metals, dyes, or carmine. Additionally they may use fillers in their pigments that may be synthetically derived.

Mineral cosmetics volume and weight of product: The volume of a product can be listed as grams, fractions of a ounce, or teaspoon/tablespoon. The weight is usually listed in grams or ounces.

Volume: The amount of space occupied by a three dimensional object (mineral cosmetics), usually expressed in cubic units such as 30 gram, 20 gram, 10 gram, 5 gram, 3 gram containers, teaspoons, or ounce.

Weight: The actual product weight. This expressed in grams or ounces. This does not include the weight of the container. Please note that some mineral cosmetic formulas are denser than others, thus they can weigh less but take up more volume.

Do you have any brands that you recommend?    I was looking at a brand called Bare Faced Minerals - I found them on the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics website, but I notice that you don't endorse any companies here - but you mention Avalon ORganics under the skin care.    Can you help with suggestions?
